Ken has a television show “Kansas Ag Report.” which is a weekly, half hour, news-focused agriculture television show hosted by Ken Rahjes. The program airs across the State of Kansas over several broadcast stations on Saturday mornings: 5:30 WIBW-13 (Topeka); 6:00 KSCW-33 (Wichita) and 6:30 FOX 14 (Pittsburg). In its eighth year, the program pinpoints and discusses issues important to Kansas agriculture. including current crop conditions, market updates, legislative reports, the latest technologies and other helpful producer-related information.
Kansas Ag Report is part of the Authentic Ag Inc. family which is also home to AgView.net and the AgView Radio Network. The goal each week is to tell the story of agriculture as well as report on local and national news that is both timely and necessary for Kansas farmers and ranchers.
Ken was raised on a diversified family farm and ranch outside of Agra, where he lives today with his wife of 29 years, Lori. Growing up in rural north central Kansas, Ken learned the values of work, stewardship, loyalty and trust from his family members and neighbors. Ken attended Colby Community College and Kansas State University where he studied agricultural communications. He is also a graduate of the Kansas Agriculture and Rural Leadership (KARL) program, (Class III).
